Lions Drag Strip was formed in 1955 and lived on until 1972. One of the best drag racing venues of all time is captured here in it's early days. Hemi's, 427 Fords, big block Chevy's, and may many more. Front engine dragsters, better known as slingshot dragsters at the time, smoked the tires all the way down the dragstrip in amazing burnout smoke show action!
