‘They’re not homeland defenders, these Mariupol cyborgs, nothing like it. No, they’re totally exhausted people,’ says Lieutenant Colonel Aleksandr Khodakovsky, speaking about the surrender of the Ukrainian military from the Azovstal plant. Aleksandr’s ‘Vostok’ battalion, together with Russian forces, flushed the Neo-Nazis from the steel plant on May 20.

After the Ukrainian soldiers withdrew, the allied troops entered the plant and found 11 square kilometres filled with explosives, booby traps, mines, and unexploded shells. During their time in hiding, the Ukrainian fighters had food, beds, lots of gadgets, even the internet. After they surrendered, many smashed PCs and laptops were also found. They destroyed the equipment to make the data unrecoverable. Watch the video to see everything for yourself.
