Prepping – Cost of Living Crisis you are on your own !

Tonight in Parliament a vote was before the house for a windfall tax, which would be levied on Gas and Energy Providers whose profits have surged due to the pricing issue. The aim of the windfall tax would be to use the money gathered to create a buffer for the most vulnerable during this period.

The Vote failed by 310 votes to 248, the Proposal would have potentially saved families up to £600 per year on top of the £150 council tax rebate and the much derided £200 loan which will be paid in instalments over the course of the next 4/5 years.

Bringing total help so far to potentially £950, there are fears figures released on 18/05/2022 will show inflation hitting an 40-YEAR high of 9.1%
