There are actually TEN criteria for diagnosing Narcissistic Personality Disorder. Nine are *specific* to NPD, but this tenth criterion is 100% required to be met in order to diagnose someone with a personality disorder, including NPD. In this video, I explain what I call "Criterion Zero," the often overlooked criterion for diagnosing personality disorders that comes before Criterion 1. This video features criteria taken directly from the DSM-5 and is the first in a series on diagnosing NPD.
