Jeff Lynne and his ELO live swings into Rod Stewart's latest album and just like that, today's Segue City Special is ready to share with the world or what passes for it right now... There's a bit of nip in the air around here as the cold front that is freezing the North and Midwest is trying to muscle its way into "the Land of the Real Man" (that's what the Greaseman called Florida) but we'll see... this is providing a lot of time for the Mayor to come up with a list of segues he wants us to pull together for next week. But tomorrow is another day and we'll get to all that then...

Segue City is a recurring short-form programming element. At some point it will be a part of "The Big Kahuna." That’s an Internet Radio format that’s a part of Global Entertainment Technology that was created by Dain L. Schult.

It revives the art of mixing two songs together in a seamless pattern where it is tough to tell where the first song ended and the second one began. Sometimes the segues may also revolve around thematic ideas like matching or similar song titles.

Other times there are hidden meanings and Easter Eggs in the mix as well. We'll try anything because no two Segue City Specials will ever be exactly the same...
