Weatherproof materials. Cable is constructed of marine grade stainless steel and vinyl coated to provide protection against the elements while preventing scratches to the secured item. Key hole cover is sand proof and splash proof to increase protection for the locking mechanism. NOTE: the locking mechanism is weather resistant - rinse with fresh water if salt water enters the locking mechanism and periodically lubricate.
