Arhuaco Indians protest, demanding autonomy in Colombia

The Arhuaco indigenous group have blocked a road in Valledupar in a rally for 'free expression and self-determination.’ The protesters from the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, northern Colombia, are demanding autonomy and self-determination as indigenous people, to elect their own authorities, and are calling on the Colombian government to recognize them.
