[ Bakhmut Front ] Ukraine lines collapse south of Bakhmut as Russia forces captured 4 vital towns

Update from the Bakhmut Front: Ukrainian forces suffered major defeat south of Bakhmut City as Russian forces consisting of the Wagner PMC and Donetsk People's Republic Militia finally overrun the Ukrainian lines that had been holding up for more than 2 months.

Russian forces captured Andriivka, Zelenopillya and Ozarianivka on the 28th Nov 2022, before new breaking that Kurdyumivka had fallen to the Russians on the 29th November 2022.

Ukrainian forces had been driving fierce counteroffensive in the region and continue to do so just off Bakhmut at Opytne, as well as at Soledar and Bakhmutske, but is not sufficient to distract the Russian forces from their push further south.

Russian forces are now attacking Klishchiivka and reports suggest that Russian forces had entered Opytne. Its currently unclear where the Ukrainians will build their new line of defense after the fall of the southern towns.
