For my struggles before posting this short review.
This might work for you if you have straight branches with no offshoots. Bamboo upto an inch thick might chop up fine, but if you have standard South Carolina brush and branches, you are going to struggle with this tool.
If you have the patience to remove almost every side branch before inserting it into the machine, then go ahead and give it a try.
For me, there was simply too much prep work per branch to get this to function efficiently for me.
It's going back to Amazon on Monday.
