An argument in defense of artists having the freedom to explore stylistically, despite market demands that artists work in one easily recognizable style that can be commodified for the marketplace. Includes works by multiple living and dead artists, including de Kooning, Gerhard Richter, Max Ernst, Picasso, Pollock, Rothko, Hans Hofmann, etc. Also includes 25 styles I have personally explored.
