Are First Impressions Lasting Impressions?

Are first impressions truly lasting impressions.

You know, it depends on the situation. If you're going for a job interview, you don't have very much time to make a first or lasting impression. But if you could knock it out of the ballpark, right away, then yes. It can be a lasting impression because you'll probably be hired. If you're going to a meeting
or you're going to, get together with new people that you don't yet know,
you could say it's lasting. It may last for seven seconds. It may last for a couple of days. It may last for a couple of weeks. It's all that you do in who you're being as to whether that impression will last because even if you make a mistake it just doesn't matter if you're being you, and especially if you can laugh it off.
