Immigration clearance at Australia's seaports

Immigration officer Phil takes us on a behind-the-scenes seaport visit in Geelong, Victoria. The department has a network of regional seaport officers who work with the Australian Customs and Border Protection Service in the immigration clearance of people arriving at Australia's seaports. Departmental officers board vessels to examine crew and passenger documents and resolve those cases referred by the Australian Customs and Border Protection Service that could not be resolved prior to arrival at a sea port.
