One of my personal favorite breathwork routines is the Bullet Breath, which is a modified Tummo breathwork session. Tummo breathing - or as many know it as "The Wim Hof Method" - is an ancient technique used by Tibetan Monks to raise their body temperature in high/cold environments.

The Bullet Breath on the other hand, begins slowly and speeds up, finally entering into a breath hold. Each round begins with an eight second inhalation, followed by an 8-second exhalation. Every subsequent round speeds up by 1-second. Meaning, round two will be 7-seconds in, and 7-seconds out. You'll continue this until you reach 1-second intervals, which will be sustained for a bit.

Finally, you enter into a breath hold, each round a little longer.

Hyperventilation can make you feel dizzy which is why this is not recommended while driving or doing any activity that requires your attention. Secondly, if you suffer from epilepsy or are pregnant, this may not be for you..
