Quilter's Summer Camp

Welcome to day one of Grace's Quilter's Summer Camp! Here is your camp agenda:

11AM - Orientation Kick-Off! Meet your Grace Camp Counselors and learn about the fun activities you can participate in during our two-day Quilt Camp! We will also be announcing the winner of our pre-registration giveaway!

11:30AM - Let's get ready for Summer Camp! First Camp duty, Pitching your Cutie Frame! Join Jarek and Melinda as they the Cutie Tabletop frame and add a quilt sandwich to get ready for their first day of camp!

12PM - Safety First: Cutting Basics with TrueCut. Get back to basics with Grace Ambassador Becky as she cuts the background squares for Lori Holt's Chicken Salad Quilt!

12:30PM - Dip a Toe in at Echo Lake: A feature on how to echo-quilt multiple rows of evenly spaced background design with your quilting machine. Learn how to emphasize appliqués or designs use a quilting foot as a guide, and easily navigate your free-motion quilting designs with echo quilting! Have fun learning EeeCccHhhOoo stitching!!

1PM - Arts and Crafts: Pantographs. Join Amanda and Janessa in the Arts and Craft cabin! Learn how to sew pantographs both with paper and a laser and with automation. Edge to edge pantographs are a great option for quickly filling a quilt. In this video you will learn how to use both a paper pantograph and automation to quilt edge to edge pantographs.

1:30PM - Lost in the Woods: Navigating with Ruler Work. Learn to navigate the basic styles and set up for ruler work quilting with our Grace Ambassador. Ruler work is a precise way to free motion quilt exact, repeatable designs on your quilt. Once you learn the basics of setting up your machine for ruler work, navigating the design is the fun part! Follow along with our Grace ambassador as she teaches us how to use a ruler base and how to keep your ruler steady. She will show us a few different styles of ruler work, so come prepared to learn the ins and outs of making your ruler work look and feel as smooth as automated quilting!

2PM - S’More Quilting Horror Stories. Gather around the campfire as we share your quilting horror stories! Scary!

2:30PM - Troop Grace Campfire. Our last live segment of the day to bid our troop a good evening and a great first day of camp!
