Venom Classic Cup Series @ Texas Motor Speedway

This was a pretty boring race. People don't race flat out. They use "strategies" during pit stops and then the 12 cars or so that we have running on a gigantic track get all spread out and we aren't really racing each other at all. We are just individually driving around a track separated by huge intervals. Its basically a time trial. Very very boring. I assume everyone was just changing outside tires and saving themselves about 10 seconds of green flag stop for very little loss in performance. I'm pretty sure I had a high percentage left on mine. I just find it to be more of a cheat than a "strategy." Much like the "fuel save" in this game its more of a hack than anything. Press a button to kill your engine before corner entry, roll through the corner, depress the accelerator at apex and roll on throttle.

Enjoy if you can. It was at least fun to drive the car and hang out with friends. I did like the car and the track combination. Overall unfulfilling though.
