In ancient Rome, the use of slave labor in all levels of society was a part of the natural order. The men and generals that fought in these conflicts would find their names forever written in the tomes of history. Some would be immortalized as heroes who stood up against tyranny, and others would be villainized. But no one could argue that these uprisings were the catalysts for change.
