For Father’s Day I got a new 12,000-pound Badland Apex Winch for my stock 1999 Jeep Cherokee XJ. We decided to revisit a very old and quite obscure trail in the Quehanna Wilderness area.

It was everything I thought it would be and much more! We have to use the winch 4 times during the trip. The rough part of the trail is about 4 miles long and it took us over 2 hours to get to the top.

Once we got to the top, we were a little tired and decided to head out; the problem was that the ONLY easy way out was blocked by severe tornado damage the night before. So we need to find an alternate route; which we did . . . it was a great Day!
