Born in Switzerland to Turkish parents and raised in Turkey, Enes Kanter came to America as teenager. He was drafted by the Utah Jazz (NBA) in 2011. A true champion of freedom, he received the 2022 Courage Award from the Geneva Summit for Human Rights and Democracy.
