During the holidays, things can easily get out of hand with all the "stuff" thrown at our way. It seems like everyone has something to sell us that will help make life "easier."

We went many years without celebrating Christmas and only started back last year. We had only one stipulation when we began to partake in the holiday traditions and festivities again. We would never go back to the hustle and bustle that is so common during this time of year.

We would be mindful and make our Christmas in the hollow, cozy and simple with not a lot of fluff or over-the-top "must-haves." It's all about the memories and simply spending time together being thankful for all God's blessings.
