Getting The Oliver 88 Diesel Running: Fuel In The Engine Oil, Will It Fix Itself By Running It?

My Dad and I want to get this Oliver 88 diesel running, as it hasn't run in several years. It is putting diesel fuel into the engine oil. We drained the oil and put new, and attempt to get it running. Do we get it running?
