Russian martial artists receive military training in Chechnya
Nearly 100 Russian martial artists are receiving military training at the Russian Special Forces University located in Gudermes, Chechen Republic.
The Russian University of Spetsnaz is devoted to the training of special forces and has extensive sporting facilities.
The school is currently providing training for volunteer athletes, who are very good at sports, physical exercises, and martial arts.
Reportedly, the group will serve for Russia's Special Military Operation (SVO) in Ukraine.
Russia started its "special military operation" on Feb 24, and claims that it is aimed at protecting people in the eastern region of Ukraine.
Civilian casualties from the ongoing war in Ukraine have reached at least 16,500, including about 6,500 killed and 10,000 injured, according to UN estimates last month.
