- SMAT Goals - Specific, Measurable, Achievable & Time Bound

- Annual Goals - What do you want to accomplish by the end of the Year? Personal, Business/Work, Family
- MISTAKES TO AVOID:
- Do NOT have too many goals.
- Don’t aim too low. Aim High on your ONE Goal in each category.
- How to use 5-10 year goals to create 1 year goals.

- Quarterly Goals - a Quarter is 13 weeks. 52/4=13
- One quarterly RESULT Goal for each ANNUAL Goal & your WHY?
- What is a RESULT Goal? It’s what needs to happen in each quarter to accomplish the annual goal by the end of the year. Think of this as defining the outcome of the quarter, but write it as a SMAT Goal format.
- Three PROGRESS Milestones/Goals to meet your 13 week RESULT Goal
- These can be sequential or simultaneous goals depending on how to achieve the goal
- What is a PROGRESS Milestone? These are clear, trackable objectives, which can be measured so you can celebrate your advancement.
- ACTIONS & TASKS - Each PROGRESS Goal will have up to 3 Actions or Tasks that need to be completed or done routinely to accomplish that PROGRESS Milestone
- Outline the actions you need to take to close the gap on your PROGRESS milestones and RESULT goal.

- Write down up to 5 Daily/Weekly Habits and Activities that will keep you motivated and working toward your goals.

WEEKLY PLANNING & REVIEW

- Choose one day a week to spend 30 minutes planning your week ahead and reviewing the previous week. I like Sunday.

- PLANNING
- Pull out your goals and use them to plan your week
- WEEKLY OBJECTIVES - Select three OBJECTIVE for the week. Be specific.
- Generally plan each day of the week. Write it down for each day of the week.
- Don’t forget to add appointments, important days, etc. This allows you to plan your weekly progress around other important events.
- Write down your Daily Habits and Activities, goal for the week (how many times you’ll do the activity or habit). Each day, when you complete the Habit/Activity, you will put a check mark for that day.

- REVIEWING
- Start with reviewing your Daily Habits and Activities. Did you meet your goals?
- What is the Happiest thing that happened this week?
- What are your 3 biggest wins for the week?
- Assess Goal Progress. How did you spend your time? Do you need to improve anything?
- What was the biggest lesson learned from the week?
