Ask, and it shall be given

84. All of you carry a wound in your hearts. Who better than I to enter your innermost being? I know your suffering, your sorrow and your discouragement in the face of such injustice and ingratitude as they reign in your world. I am aware of the weariness of those who have lived and struggled on this Earth, and whose existence is nothing but a grievous burden for them. I am aware of the emptiness of those who were left alone in this life. To all of you, I say: “Ask, and it shall be given”, because this is what I have come for, to give you what you require of Me, whether it be company, bliss, healing, tasks, or light.

85. Do not fear misery, for it is temporary, and in it you shall pray, taking the patience of Job as an example. Abundance will return, and you will fail to find enough words to thank Me with.

86. When sickness weighs you down, oh, blessed sick, do not despair! Your spirit is not ailing; elevate yourselves to Me in prayer, for then will your faith and spiritualization return the health of your body. Pray in the manner I have taught you: Spiritually.

87. During the hours of trial, pray a brief but pure and sincere prayer, and you will feel comforted. When you manage to be in harmony with your Lord, I will be able to tell you that My will is yours, and your will is Mine.

88. Pray, but your prayer must be dictated by your daily intentions and works, for that will be your best prayer. Though if you wish to direct a thought at Me, to express a request, say only this to Me: “Father, your will shall be done in me.” With this you will request more than you could even hope or understand, and this simple phrase, this thought, will even more simplify the “Our Father” you had asked of Me in another time.

89. And there you have the prayer that asks all and will speak best for you. However, may not your lips utter it, rather feel it with your heart, because saying is not feeling, and should you feel it, you will have no need to say it. I know how to hear the voice of the spirit and understand its language. What greater joy can there be for you than to know this? Or did you believe that I need you to tell Me what to do?

90. I have taught you to pray and plead for others, though I do listen to you when you ask something for yourselves as well. I do receive that prayer. Yet I tell you that the time when I gave to you according to your petition, because you were still immature, has passed. Now I wish for you to act like disciples, presenting to Me your spirits and your hearts as you pray, allowing Me to read them and do My will within them.

91. When you consult Me or ask something of Me, do not exert yourselves in an attempt to spell your problem out for Me, nor bother to search your mind for the most appropriately formulated phrases. It is enough for Me that your spirit disengages from the world during those moments, your heart and mind cleansed, so they may receive My inspiration. Of what use would it be to you should you offer Me delighful words when you are incapable of feeling My presence within you? I know all, and you need not explain anything to Me for Me to understand it.

92. If you know how to understand My doctrine, it will offer you many satisfactions, many opportunities to develop and elevate yourselves. Learn to pray before making any decision, for prayer is the perfect form of asking your Father, for in it you will demand light and strength to survive the struggle for existence.

93. During prayer will soon an illumination be granted to your understanding, allowing you to clearly distinguish between good and evil, between the advisable and what you should refrain from doing...
