PT4 | Carnivore Recipe to stay on for the Holiday Season | Cheese & Crackers
Let's stay on track this Christmas Season. In preparation for the holiday festivities, I'm sharing with you a new recipe each day this week (12/12 - 12/16) that in combination will make an entire dinner! Day four, we make crackers! I made several attempts today making "crackers" to fit within the Carnivore Diet guidelines and ultimately created a recipe I'm content with- HOWEVER, I do challenge you al to help me perfect it!
Ingredients: Do *NOT* use Sour Cream
- 50g Ground Pork Rinds
- 2 tbsp Parmesan Cheese
- 3 Egg Yolks
- 1 tbsp Butter
Directions:
*Preheat oven to 400 degrees F
1. Grind your pork rinds into a fine consistency.
2. Mix together ground pork rinds, parmesan cheese, egg yolks, and butter and combine thoroughly.
3. Refrigerate "dough" for 10 minutes.
4. Roll out "dough" mixture onto parchment paper & bake in oven for 10 minutes
5. Cut & enjoy with your favorite cheeses/cheese spread.
