CBS Austin: Analysis of U.S. Federal Grant Making Into Austin Texas FY2022

The fiscal year of the U.S. federal government just ended on September 30. The most recent data shows that $64 billion in federal grants flowed to 294 entities with a Austin Texas address. That’s misleading, because Austin is the state capitol, and all but $1.6 billion flowed to state agencies.
