The Flesh without the Spirit

If we walk by the Spirit and we will not fulfill the desires of the flesh. What is the flesh? The flesh was crucified, and if it was why are we told the Spirit is contrary to the flesh? What makes the deeds of the flesh evident? As complicated as this sounds, we explain just what Paul was stating in Galatians 5:16-24. The church has told us "Not you not yet") and has us on a treadmill of performance, trying to get into a room we are already in. Christianity is not to be tried because it's finished. The Spirit's job is to life the veil and reveal Christ as us and for us, proving we are complete. The work is done, now walk out your new identity as the new man, not the old.
