A Miata Drive From Walmart To Home - December 14th, 2022

A drive in my Miata from the 119th Street Walmart to home. For this video, I am recording in 4K 60 FPS mode with my 2nd Wolfang GA420 action camera, seeing if I can actually edit the footage and upload it. I transferred the video clips to my iPhone, edited the video in iMovie, then uploaded the finished product using the iPhone's Youtube mobile app. I'm hoping it will eventually show up in 4K format, but so far it has only rendered a 1080P 60FPS version. Ugh! All that extra work and if it only ends up with a 1080P version, what a huge bummer. The upload time to Youtube alone took about 2.5 hours.

I had the camera set on "Driving Mode" ON, not knowing what the mode was for. I looked it up later, and found out while in "Driving Mode" the camera only records in 1 minute intervals, and will record over the first videos if the SD card fills up. And for whatever reason, these clips didn't record with any audio. Hence the addition of a musical soundtrack to this video. From now on, I know to have "Driving Mode" set to OFF.

The Wolfang company sent me another camera, because when I emailed them to say a few features were missing in the menu, they said I had received an older version of the GA420 model. So they would send me the latest version out to me in a few weeks. I finally received it, now I have two of these cameras. Sweet!
