The Church Fathers (Ep. 7) - Origins of Church Missions. Sunday Clubs Selling Religious Experiences.

The original plans for this week were waylaid, misplaced, ignored, and finally, sky-fired out of a gigantic pirate-cannon.

In other words, we ended up surprising ourselves by having a 2-hour conversation that unearthed some even more surprising topics that were private enough to press the 'Stop Recording' button.

We have no regrets about this - if the Church Fathers need a brotherly chat we will sit down and deprive you (without any shame or hesitation) of a double act.

But do not fear, dear viewer/listener, for yours truly is pleased to present a one-man show of punchy commentary about the sorry state of the church today, and reasons for this paucity of purpose and victory.

Make no mistake, we must get this problem fixed, locate the hard, narrow road, and implement (no matter how meagre their initial outward appearance) the correct solutions in our covenant communities.
