I'd Rather Die Right Here! Muhammad Ali #shorts

The greatest Muhammad Ali was a strong critic of the Vietnam war. Ali decided for his own personal and religious beliefs that he was not going to go to Vietnam to kill innocent people who never did anything to him personally. For him, it was a moral decision not to go fight and kill poor people in another country when he was not even free in his own country.

In his own mind, why would he want to go kill people who never did anything to him? While in his own country he thought of the white people sending him as his oppressor. Ali believed that the people sending him to war were the same people who would not give him his rights in his own land. Adding that he would rather die fighting in the US than go abroad and be killed.
