Why is Richard Burgon making Twitter posts to suggest Labour would pay nurses whatever they want when he knows Keir Starmer has said it is not possible. It is as if he is trying to deceive the public and/or the nurses into believing Labour would pay what they have asked for. As I keep saying when I was a student nurse we were told never ever talk about striking and never strike as the moment you do you lose forever the respect from the public and will be seen as just another worker. And that clearly has happened. Also the 1970’s stokes has no real public support and as such people voted conservatives for years. But let us not forget that Labour gets a lot of cash from some unions. So when you see Labour mo’s advertise unions by saying they support them. Perhaps you should question why. If Labour did care about the poor and indeed workers then why have speed cameras in Labour areas and why do some Labour councils now charge poor people to drive into a city. If these Labour people did care about workers why do they not worry about business that WILL go bust because they are not getting customers because of the strikes or business that will go bust because they cannot post items because of the strikes. Or even the sick who may have operations cancelled. If you want evidence to show Labour and the left so not care about the poor and workers then this is it.
