Is Richard Burgon representing the left wing middle class rather than real voters? Yesterday Richvhard Burgon posted on Twitter [Before I turn in, today in Parliament we defeated a Tory MP’s Bill on deporting asylum seekers regardless of any “inconsistency or incompatibility with international or other domestic law” or “any decision or judgment of any international court or body”.

A victory for decency.]

keep saying I am not a conservative. And in truth have not much to say on immigration as at the moment it does not affect me.

But while a lot of left wing middle class people want to look like nice people and defend people even if they are convicted murders, one suspects even the most free spirited average person would think if people do wrong then they should not be allowed to stay in the UK.

One suspects this tweet may not go down too well with the average voter. It will be interesting to see if this looses Labour votes in the next election.
