Golden Axe II Two-Player Playthrough (Wii Virtual Console)

This is a capture of me and a friend playing through Golden Axe II for the Sega Genesis. This was played on the Wii Virtual Console and recorded directly from my Wii (not the Wii U). I'm player one (Ax Battler) and Drew is player two (Gilius Thunderhead). We're playing on normal difficulty.

I don't have any prior experience with Golden Axe II, but when I downloaded the original Golden Axe for the Virtual Console a few years ago, I decided to get the sequel as well. There are quite a few good Sega Genesis games out there, and this is one of them.

Drew and I actually had an easier time beating this game compared to the first one. I think the controls may be a little smoother and more responsive, but overall, this feels very similar to the first game.
