. J.Almarales Guitarist . Graduated from the Art school in Santa Clara Cuba, Jorge Almarales quickly made a name for himself in the 80's with the mythical Alto Mando, and later on with Vértigo –metal bands influenced by Alcatrazz, and Megadeth. In 1990 he moves to Havana, joining the art rock group Artevivo. In 1995 he became a member of the ethno-rock and progressive masters Síntesis, which whom he recorded the album \"En los límites del barrio\" (1995) and toured extensively, including playing the famous Montreux Festival, the Pori Jazz Festival (Finland) the Niza Jazz Festival ,Cervantino festival Guadalajara Mexico, Jazz a Vienne, Festival de Bahia Brasil ,Festival Primo Maggio Italia Roma 1999 ,Bridge to Havana Cuba . Almarales lives now in the United States. He has been playing and recording with the reformed Artevivo, as well as with other artists. During this year I have the opportunity to participate in Guitar Gods Festival in Miami Beach and I was one of the finalist contestants.
