Dumbest thing I've ever done, but thieves must pay.

Well this trip quickly became very memorable, but not for reasons I'm particularly proud of. The video does a great job of relaying something that was unfortunately never caught on camera but i will write down my account of the event here as well just to clarify a few things. The temperature at night was dipping below 10 degrees F and our diesel heater quit working, which meant our only source of heat came from powering a small electric heater plugged into our Jackery battery box. We were camping in a small town in Canada hoping to fix my wifes landcruiser the next day with the help from our buddy Clinton from @Dirt Garage We wrapped the kids uptight in an electric warming blanket and waited out the cold night. In the morning i needed to use the Jackery to power a block heater since it was so cold outside that our Rv wouldn't start. With the Jackery nestled under the front of the vehicle i suddenly noticed a car quickly pull up to the front of the rv and watched in disbelief as a tweaker hopped out of his car, crawled under my rv and snagged my battery box. I squeezed past my wife and rushed to the door where I was face to face with the thief as he got back in the passenger side of his girlfriends car. As I reached to catch him his wench smashed the gas and they started to peel away, without thinking I leapt for the car, landing on the hood with a loud smash, ensuring I left a nice dent. the female drive screamed and the look of panic on their faces was worth every cut on my hands as i bashed their windshield into a massive spiderweb of cracks, impossible to see through. I suddenly realized that the car had never stopped moving and we had accelerated to around 50 mph according to witnesses who saw the moment the driver slammed her brakes and swerved violently to shake me off her vehicle. I was thrown from the hood of the car and did my best to roll out of it but bruised my back and tailbone a bit. I walked back to my Rv where my wife was staring in disbelief of what she had just seen. The best part of the story is that the pathetic thieves were so shaken up by the incident that they actually returned the Jackery Box the next day despite having gotten away with it.
