Khrome is a fan-made Mortal Kombat Kharacter that derived from an accidental paint job for "Smoke" Mortal Kombat Kharacter figure. The figure was given to ED BOON, co-creater of the MK franchise, the figure was shared through twitter being named " chromium edition smoke ".

After Liu Kang defeated Kronika, he became a god of time, thunder & fire, gaining Raiden's powers & using his own.

But one fateful day, Shang Tsung returned, killing Ermac, commiting Arturo M. Padua's suicide & stealing the soul of Goro.

Shang Tsung used his soul to revive Onaga, a dragon king was destroyed by Raiden, Shang Tsung & Quan Chi many years ago.

Shang Tsung has also used his soul to revive Omega, the dragon queen & Onaga's wife.

Onaga has become more powerful than ever, having the souls of Shinnok, Kronika & Goro had brought back many deceased kombatants, such as Sindel, Quan Chi & Mileena.

It's been two years since the last installment of the Mortal Kombat series was released and fans of the franchise are ready to find out who the heroes of Earthrealm will have to battle next. They may have their answer shortly. According to recent job postings, development on the next Mortal Kombat could be starting soon.

The developer behind the series, NetherRealm Studios, is actively looking for two new members to join the team. On WarnerMedia's website, there is a posting for a producer with experience in the video game industry, preferably with AAA console titles. The other posting on Linkedin is for a senior artist/animator, and it lists "experience in developing martial arts fighting games" as a desirable trait.
