Tim Janakos is reading and reminiscing about the great poem Daisaku Ikeda wrote to the Soka Gakkai members of Los Angeles and the US "the Sun of Jiyu Over the New Land." Jizu is the word for Freedom in Japanese and Refers to "Jiyu no Bosatsu" Bodhisattvas of Freedom (translated in English as "Boddhisatvas of the Earth")
