President Biden exchanged Viktor Bout, AKA "The Merchant of Death", a notorious arms dealer, who was 10 years into a 25-year prison sentence in the United States as a Russian asset for providing heavy weapons to terrorists and for conspiring to kill Americans for WNBA basketball player, Brittney Griner. Griner, who was only 10 months into a 9-year prison sentence in a Russian prison. Griner was convicted of smuggling hash oil into Russia.
