Plants vs Zombies 2 - Penny's Pursuit - Zomboss - Sap-fling - December 2022

This Penny's quest focuses on the GEM plant Sap-fling and was offered between between December 14, 2022 and December 21, 2022

Sap-fling is a member of the Contain-Mint family.
Costs 75 Sun. (50 Sun at level 7.)
Launches a puddle of sap at the closest zombie. This sap will land on the ground and last seven (7) seconds.
Slows any zombies which walks on it by 50%.

Commentary:
A plant which really slows down zombies. This has some nice combinations with Spikerock and Spikeweed. The slow is strong enough to make other plants that much more effective.

Bottom Line:
Sap-fling really only slows down the closest zombie. Zombies behind it will walk right up to the leader. So Sap-fling's effect is really one (1) tile. Sap-fling also does not eliminate any zombies - just slows them down.

It's not so much that Sap-fling is a useless plant. It's more that seed slots are precious and lawn tiles are precious. The leftmost columns are the premium slots and I can not justify a column of Sap-flings when usually two (2) columns needs to be devoted to Sun producers and the other needs to be an offensive plant.

I also try to vary the strategies from week to week and showcasing different plants and strategies and ideas. Using the same strategy week after week would be boring to see.
