We all know that in order to lose weight, we should "eat less" and "move more" and "eat more veggies," right? So if we all know how to lose weight, I guess whoever is overweight has simply made the 'choice' to be overweight, right? Well, not so fast...

"Eat less" assumes the problem is that people eat too much. Though that may not actually be the underlying problem. And even just looking at how many people try to lose weight and either don't get very far or end up gaining it back again, it doesn't seem like this mainstream advice on how to lose weight is working for most people, does it?
