1915 Scotch Kale Soup
The Nature Cure Cook Book
2 cups kale
4 quarts stock
Butter
Salt
½ cup rolled oats
1 grated onion
Wash well and chop very fine sufficient kale to make 2 cups. Cook in 4 quarts stock about one hour. Add butter, salt, 1/2 cup rolled oats, and 1 grated onion. Let cook about thirty minutes.
Did we eat it? Yes
Would I make it again? Probably not
Notes: Used less stock and more kale.
