Nancy Pelosi tells Barack Obama that the Democrats lost the House in 2010 because white men get in a mood when they don't have a job:

"The white male thing is just—that's a dominant thing. When they don't have a job, they get in a mood."

In 2010, the unemployment rate was near 10% and almost 8 million Americans had lost their jobs due to the 2008 financial crisis.
