Horizon Forbidden West - Easy Guide to Completed a Long Glide Trophy - Glide 60 Seconds

In the main quest, The Wings of the Ten, you will unlock the ability to override Sunwings. Climb to the top of the mountain starting from the west exit to your base, and override one of the Sunwings there.

Hold R1 to fly directly up from where you are. Since you're on a mountain, the maximum altitude will be significantly higher than anywhere on the map. When you see the Sunwing bobbing up and down, indicating that you reached the max height, press Square to dismount, followed immediately by holding Square to start your glide. Aim for the valley to the west of your base. You should have plenty of time to spare. I ended up with a buffer of 49 seconds.
