The Syndicate - J L. Clodfelter

The Syndicate was inspired by the Orzhov (black and white) guild of Magic: The Gathering. The piece of art actually came first and then I was motivated to write something that represented the haunting sounds of a guild built upon religious deceit. They showcase their beauty with stained glass windows, priests, angels, and wealth in abundance. But something unholy is underneath the surface.

Musically, it was inspired by traditional church music with modern sound design, doom metal, and industrial rock.
