UNSTABLE SGT. CALLS "CODE 3" BACKUP. OWNED **DISMISSED** AND INVESTIGATED

This was on Saturday December 4th 2021 at approximately 1:07 in the morning, Outside of the city of Miami police department in Miami Florida. I'm I was on scene with Open Government Investigations and Ragomonkey. As we approached the police department we noticed in officer sitting in his car at a nearby park. O.G.I. Decided to get a closer look to see if the officer was in need of help (welfare check), sleeping or on his phone his phone. As he stood by the vehicle for about a minute or so he saw the officer just texting on his phone. He did not want to startle him so he got back to the sidewalk and flashed his flashlight on him to get his attention. Sergeant Jack of the Miami police department totally lost his mind and called for a code 3 asking backup to get there immediately but they're immediately with lights and sirens activated.

Backup showed up very quickly and thankfully it was a group of well educated young officers, on the 1st Amendment, that also practiced their de-escalation skills. At times these subordinates of the sergeant had to hold him back and even wrangle him in so he did not do something that he regretted.
