Watch incredible moment Ukrainian Mi-17 attack helicopter swoops just metres from snowy forest

A UKRAINIAN Mi-17 attack helicopter was filmed swooping just metres from a snowy forest displaying the pilots incredible skills.

The footage captured by crew on board shows the incredible moment the craft glides over the tips of the forest.

It comes as the governor of the Kyiv region, Oleksiy Kuleba, said air defence systems were at work following reports of multiple drone strikes as the Ukraine war rages on.

Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko, explained that air-defence systems successfully shot down "Shahed drones" in the early hours of the morning.

Writing on the Telegram messaging app he said: "In the Kyiv region and over the capital, air defence forces shot down a total of 10 Shahed drones."
