Episode 97 - The Hope That Doesn't Float

The seasons of our lives that are the most fun aren't necessarily the most fruitful, and the seasons of our lives that we get the most out of aren't necessarily the ones we would choose to go through.

There are some seasons of your life that will cut you down and take off your branches. We call them pruning seasons. Even in the pruning is a promise.

God is up to something in your life this Christmas. We celebrate this season that hope has come into the world, but we have to remember not only that it has come, or who it came through, but how it came.

Are you struggling this Christmas trying to figure out your life? Are you trying to put puzzle pieces together to make sense of where you belong? I'm sure we can all say we have been there at one point in our life, or you may be there now.

There is Hope, and it's not the kind that floats!

This week on Connecting the Gap, we study a little-known scripture in the Old Testament and pull out an awesome Christmas promise to take with us into this Christmas season.
