An American mercenary in Azov Battalion speaks out, Justin Banse joined a reconnaissance unit of Azov formed entirely by Americans. When he got there he realise the truth, his commander and colleagues had mostly Nazi ideology:

So it's almost funny...how prevalent, how much prevalence there is.

-... my company commander opened up his laptop on this huge fucking TV screen and he had a fucking desktop photo of fucking Adolf Hitler.

-There was one guy.... he was the team medic ... he said ignore this fucking trailer trash fucking racist we are just here to do a job.

◾️The mercenary also speaks of his acceptance of Nazi views:

-There is almost like the lesser of two evils, would you rather have this Nazi that's a normal guy but likes Hitler or you rather have this (the Russians), you know.
