Step by Step instructions on how to and some how not to replace a bad BMS from an electric bike battery.

I found that my 48 volt 20ah battery would not charge all the way up after sitting for a few months. It would only charge to 54.45v and would slowly drop when 54.6 should be a stable full charge.

I do show a major mistake I made on this video. I almost burn down my house because I pointed the heat gun at the battery BMS balance wires for too long a melted the outside of the wire. This was not smart on my part. I upload this as a lesson for other on what not to do.

Please use caution when working on your own battery for you may injure yourself or burn down your house. It could even lead to your death. I show my mistakes so others can learn from them. Let make this clear I am in no way responsible for your mistakes.
