As the final stop of Chongqing Rail Transit Line 4, Shichuan station extends almost to the easternmost part of Yubei District. Its platform locates at the gateway of Chongqiao Village. Since the station opened on June 18th this year, the township of Shichuan has changed a lot.

Some villagers can go further by the train to the Country Fair, where the vegetables can be sold for a better price. Their consumers are from around the station, some from along the rail line, and some even from other districts.

The train has actually improved the lives of residents. Many villagers were able to get a chance to join the rail transit operating company. iChongqing interviewed a couple, Wu, a skilled technical worker, found a job in the company to maintain equipment. And his wife, Chen, got a job as an office operator in the workshop. After years of drifting outside, the couple has finally achieved a work-life balance. Their lives and works were both fulfilled.

The train drove into the village, representing the high-speed development of rail transit in Chongqing. The coming and going of the train not only reflects the "Rail Networks Integration" concept proposed by Chongqing ahead of the whole country, but also is a reflection of Chongqing's determination to build a "one-hour commuting circle".

Chongqing is looking forward to making travel more convenient for citizens and further improving the quality of people's lives.
