I want to start off by saying i am 100% charismatic and believe in the full use of the spiritual gifts today. I believe in healing, tongues, prophecy, inner healing and deliverance, signs and wonders, visions & dreams

However the Charismatic world has gone off the rails
And it is time to call some of this stuff out and return to sanity
We need to return to the basics such as prayer, waiting on the lord, reading the word and worship
Sometimes we can get so heavenly minded that we are non earthly good
Or get hyper charismatic and checking our brains at the door
We need the spiritual
We need the practical
We need the spirit
But we need scripture
We need the heart
But we need the head
Its not either or
We need to be as wise as serpents
But as gentle as doves

Sometimes i am tempted to think maybe i am being to harsh
Then today i was listening to some podcast and saw many other high level leaders calling out the ugly in the charismatic movement as well
Using terms like Superstitious non sense
And foolishness

Here is Dr. Brown discusses Dr. Joe Mattera’s new book The Global Apostolic Movement
He is talking about how everyone today is called an apostle
The term is thrown around so loosely
And these apostles have went off the rails
Many Apostles spoke Covid would disappear in a short time
Others were engaged in spiritual warfare over the 2020 election

It is linked to this idea that every thing has demons attached to it
Yet we have authority in Christ
He is also concerned about the modern deliverance movement going too far
I practical inner healing and deliverance myself
But not everything is demonic
Actually in most cases things are extremally practical
And most time things are emotional

Again some of these things are just the flesh
And i don't believe we ever get fully healed on this side of heaven

On the idea that having a Christmas tree is going to open a portal to the demonic
